Volkl Bridge Review

November 10, 2009

volkl-bridge-2010-2Volkl Bridge Skis 2010Wider and softer than many of the other all mountain skis we have reviewed, the Volkl Bridge is a solid mid-fat ski that wins major points for its versatility.

According to Volkl, they named it the “bridge” because it is intended to bridge the gap between park and powder, and it seems to do just that. The medium-soft stiffness and light weight are characteristics that are favorable in both envrionments, while the partial twin tip design doesn’t hold you back from the occasional switch landing.

Something that’s particularly interesting about the Bridges are their skinnier tails, which make them easy to turn and great in the bumps. While they aren’t stiff enough for high speed, they feel rock solid under just about any other conditions.

VOLKL BRIDGE REVIEW // WHO IT’S FOR
Anyone who wants a fun loving ski that moves from park to powder with ease (with the exception of speed.)

“A burly ski that does really well on in-bounds powder stashes and in the park. Feels rock solid on landings.”
